EDUCATIONAL LOAN FACILITY

Ramarani Institute of Technology (RIT) facilitates and supports eligible students in availing educational loans from nationalized banks, scheduled commercial banks, and other recognized financial institutions for pursuing Diploma, B.Tech, and MBA programmes offered by the Institute.
Educational loans are sanctioned as per the norms and guidelines of the respective lending institutions and the Government of India / Reserve Bank of India (RBI). The Institute does not provide loans directly but extends all necessary institutional support to students for processing loan applications.
1. Eligibility
Educational loan facilities are generally available to students who:
- Have secured admission to approved programmes of RIT through centralized counseling or other authorized admission processes
- Are Indian nationals
- Meet the academic and financial eligibility criteria prescribed by the lending bank
2. Courses Eligible for Educational Loan
Educational loans may be availed for the following programmes offered by RIT:
- Diploma Engineering (Regular & Lateral Entry)
- Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech)
- Master of Business Administration (MBA)
All programmes are AICTE-approved and affiliated to the concerned statutory bodies, making them eligible for educational loan consideration by banks.
3. Loan Amount and Coverage
The loan amount and coverage are determined by the lending bank and may typically include:
- Tuition fees
- Examination and laboratory fees
- Books, equipment, and study materials
- Hostel and mess charges (where applicable)
- Other reasonable academic expenses as per bank norms
The quantum of loan is subject to course cost, collateral requirements, and repayment capacity as assessed by the bank.
4. Interest Rate and Repayment
- Interest rates are applicable as per bank-specific education loan schemes
- Repayment generally commences after completion of the course and moratorium period, as prescribed by the lending institution
- Students may avail interest subsidy benefits, if applicable, under Government of India schemes
5. Institutional Support by RIT
RIT assists students by:
- Issuing Bonafide Certificate / Admission Letter
- Providing Fee Structure and Course Details
- Verifying documents required by banks
- Coordinating with banks for institutional confirmation, when required
A designated office assists students in understanding and completing loan formalities.
6. Important Notes
- Educational loans are sanctioned solely at the discretion of the lending bank.
- Submission of all required documents in a timely manner is the responsibility of the student.
- RIT shall not be liable for rejection or delay in loan sanction by banks.
- Students are advised to contact banks well in advance to avoid delays in fee payment.
